We lovingly grow a carefully-curated array of cut flowers, specifically selected for their exquisite beauty and unique coloration, on our small flower farm in the rolling hills of the driftless region of Southern Wisconsin.

Samantha curated a beautiful assortment of flowers and greenery for our wedding day. From the bouquets to the centerpieces, boutonnieres, and the vines she decorated our ceremony space with, everything was lush, elegant, and even better than what we envisioned. We were originally going to do our own flowers to save money but we saw her ad in a bridal magazine while we were in La Crosse and we are SO grateful for that serendipitous find!!! She has an amazing eye for color and design and brought so much beauty to our celebration. She was also a joy to work with when we visited her and she even put together a whole mood-board to demonstrate how she could put our thoughts to life!! We cannot imagine how different our day would have looked without Samantha’s design and we highly recommend Samantha and really appreciate the work she did to make our day so special!
I have nothing but positive things to say about Pennycress Studio! Samantha was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the entire floral design process. When I found myself stuck on a few design choices, she offered thoughts and options to help with my choice. I'm a bit of a big picture planner so her communication was always clear and timely, which gave me complete confidence in the next steps and overall timeline.
But above all, Samantha seems to have a genuine passion for what she does and it shines through in the detail of her work. Her creativity, care, and enthusiasm made the experience not only seamless but also joyful. ​I cannot rave enough about the floral Pennycress Studio designed for my wedding this past July. Sam and Dan are incredibly kind, thoughtful and talented. From the initial meeting on their lovely farm to the execution on the big day, it was an absolute pleasure working with them.
Sam is an incredibly gifted floral designer, and I loved that everything was grown on their farm. They were even able to make peonies happen for me in July!
The flowers were some of the most beautiful I've ever seen (and I spent years working as a wedding planner collaborating with some of southcentral Wisconsin's most impressive florists). Sam truly listened to what my husband and I wanted, and she never tried to upsell me or sell me on a different vision. But she was also honest about what was possible given the season and Wisconsin weather.
And she happily took on a last-minute request, making our ceremony arch look fantastic!
I cannot say enough great things about Pennycress Studio. You will not regret choosing Sam as your florist!

I would highly recommend Pennycress Studio for floral design. Samantha is incredibly professional and talented. The flowers for my wedding were thoughtfully arranged with texture, color, and vibrancy, with locally grown species. Everything was delivered exactly as expected and communicated clearly ahead of time. 10/10!

I knew one of the most important parts of my wedding for me was going to be my floral. I was so nervous at first because I wasn’t having luck finding anyone able to bring my visions to life that was within my budget. I then stumbled upon Pennycress Studio and I am so thankful I did.
From the first meeting with Samantha until my wedding day, it was so fun and easy to work together to create vision boards and explore the possibilities for my wedding florals. Samantha truly went above and beyond to do everything she could not only to create the florals I wanted but to keep everything within my budget.
I was almost in tears when I saw my bouquet and florals on my wedding day. They were everything I wanted and more. I highly suggest considering Pennycress Studio for any of your floral needs :)

I had the best experience working with Sam, the owner of PennyCress Studio! Sam is truly talented and wonderful to work with! She exceeded my expectations for my wedding florals, and I am forever grateful that she grew and designed my wedding florals.
Throughout the entire process, Sam was incredibly detailed, thoughtful, and very responsive. She created a beautiful mood board and went through each flower that would be in the bouquets, the centerpieces, and etc.
It was so fun to work with Sam because it was completely stress free! Sam is crazy talented and all the flowers she grows are stunning. Before the wedding, Sam gave a tour of her beautiful flower garden. It was the coolest experience to be able to see some of the flowers she grew for my special day.
