We will begin shipping dahlia tubers in April

​

Listings represent one (1) dahlia tuber, which produces one dahlia plant that will produce blooms throughout your growing season. Depending on variety, dahlias typically bloom from mid-summer through first frost (mid-October in zone 4).

When you receive your tuber(s), you may pot them up and grow under lights until last frost, or keep them cool until ready to plant directly in the ground.  If the eye on the tuber begins to send up a green sprout before you have had time to plant it do not fret, it is just waking up, and will produce a beautiful plant once you get it in soil.

​

Dahlias like compost-rich, well-drained soil and plenty of water throughout the summer, and will be quite happy when provided with these.
